Day 1: Airport to Yapahuwa

Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by your tour guide who will then take you to Yapahuwa, a historical and archaeological site that was once the capital of Sri Lanka. Yapahuwa features ancient rock fortress ruins, an impressive staircase, and several Buddhist temples that reflect the island's rich history and cultural heritage.
Day 2: Yapahuwa to Anuradhapura

After breakfast, you will travel to Anuradhapura, one of the oldest and most sacred cities in Sri Lanka. Anuradhapura is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and boasts numerous ancient temples, stupas, and ruins that showcase the island's incredible Buddhist history and architecture.
Day 3: Anuradhapura

Today, you will have a full day to explore the ancient city of Anuradhapura. Highlights include the Sri Maha Bodhi Tree, the Abhayagiri and Jetavanarama stupas, and the Isurumuniya temple.
Day 4: Anuradhapura to Polonnaruwa

After breakfast, you will head to Polonnaruwa, another UNESCO World Heritage Site that was the second capital of Sri Lanka in the medieval era. Here, you will find impressive ruins of palaces, temples, and ancient Buddhist shrines.
Day 5: Polonnaruwa to Trincomalee

Today, you will travel to Trincomalee, a charming coastal town with pristine beaches and clear waters. You can spend the afternoon relaxing by the beach or taking a dip in the sea.
Day 6: Trincomalee

Today is a free day to explore Trincomalee at your leisure. You may choose to visit the famous Koneswaram Temple, Fort Frederick, or the Pigeon Island National Park for some snorkeling or diving.
Day 7: Trincomalee to Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, you will head to Nuwara Eliya, a picturesque hill station surrounded by lush green tea plantations. Along the way, you can stop at a tea factory to learn about the tea-making process and enjoy a cup of world-renowned Ceylon tea.
Day 8: Nuwara Eliya to Yala

Day 11: Yala to Colombo

After breakfast, you will head to Colombo, the bustling commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Along the way, you can stop at the Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is known for its well-preserved colonial buildings.
Day 12 and 13: Colombo

You will have two full days to explore the city of Colombo at your leisure. Some popular attractions include the Gangaramaya Temple, the National Museum of Colombo, and the Viharamahadevi Park.
Day 14: Colombo to Airport

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
