Itinerary

Day 1: Airport to Kandy

Upon arriving at the airport, you will head directly to the historic city of Kandy, nestled in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. This vibrant city is home to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, as well as the picturesque Kandy Lake and the charming Kandy Market.
Day 2: Kandy

You will spend the day exploring the many fascinating sights and sounds of Kandy. You may wish to visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, the largest and most important temple in Sri Lanka, or stroll around the beautiful Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Alternatively, you could take a scenic drive through the surrounding hills to visit tea plantations and traditional villages.
Day 3: Kandy to Polonnaruwa

Today you will travel to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most impressive archaeological sites in Sri Lanka. Here you can explore the well-preserved ruins of this once-great city, including the impressive Royal Palace and the towering Gal Vihara statues.
Day 4: Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya, Minneriya National Park

After breakfast, you will visit the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a 5th-century citadel built atop a towering rock outcrop. Later in the day, you will embark on a thrilling jeep safari through Minneriya National Park, home to a wide range of Sri Lanka's most iconic wildlife, including elephants, leopards, and sloth bears.
Day 5: Polonnaruwa to Trincomalee

Today you will make your way to the beautiful coastal town of Trincomalee, where you can relax on the pristine beaches or take a dip in the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. You may also wish to visit the historic Koneswaram Temple, located atop a dramatic cliff overlooking the sea.
Day 6: Trincomalee

You will spend the day exploring the town of Trincomalee and the surrounding area. You could take a boat ride to Pigeon Island, a marine national park home to a diverse array of coral reefs and marine life, or visit the stunning Uppuveli Beach for some relaxation time.
Day 7: Trincomalee to Nuwara Eliya

Today you will travel to the picturesque town of Nuwara Eliya, known as the Little England of Sri Lanka. This charming town is located amidst rolling hills and tea plantations and is famous for its cool climate, scenic beauty, and historic colonial architecture.
Day 8: Nuwara Eliya

You will spend the day exploring the many sights and attractions of Nuwara Eliya. You may wish to visit the stunning Haggala Botanical Gardens or embark on a scenic train ride through the surrounding hills to take in the breathtaking views of the countryside.
Day 9: Nuwara Eliya to Yala

After breakfast, you will make your way to the world-renowned Yala National Park, home to one of the densest populations of leopards in the world. You will embark on an exciting jeep safari through the park, giving you the chance to see a wide variety of Sri Lanka's most iconic wildlife up close.
Day 10: Yala Safari

You will spend the day exploring Yala National Park on another thrilling jeep safari, with the chance to spot elephants, crocodiles, water buffalo, and a range of bird species, in addition to the elusive leopards.
Day 11: Yala to Galle

After breakfast, travel to the historic city of Galle, known for its well-preserved Dutch fort and charming streets lined with colonial buildings. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and take a leisurely stroll around the fort, exploring the ramparts and admiring the views of the Indian Ocean. You can also visit the Galle Lighthouse and the Maritime Museum to learn about the city's rich maritime history.
Day 12: Galle to Colombo

After breakfast, travel to Colombo, the bustling capital city of Sri Lanka. On the way, you can visit some of the famous tourist attractions such as the Madu River and the turtle hatchery in Kosgoda. Upon arrival in Colombo, check into your hotel and rest for a while.
Day 13: Colombo

Today you have the whole day to explore Colombo. You can start your day by visiting some of the famous tourist attractions such as the Gangaramaya Temple, the Independence Memorial Hall, and the National Museum. You can also take a leisurely walk through Viharamahadevi Park or relax on one of the many beaches around the city.
Day 14: Colombo to Airport

On the last day of your trip, pack your bags and get ready to bid farewell to Sri Lanka. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some time in the morning to do some last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Your driver will then take you to the airport for your departure flight, marking the end of an unforgettable journey.
