  • Day 1: Airport to Yapahuwa

    Upon arrival at the airport, you will travel to the ancient city of Yapahuwa. This city is famous for its rock fortress, which served as the capital of Sri Lanka during the 13th century. After checking in at your hotel, you can explore the fortress, which boasts magnificent views of the surrounding landscape.
  • Day 2: Yapahuwa to Anuradhapura

    After breakfast, you will head to Anuradhapura, another ancient city with a rich history. You can visit various ancient ruins and temples in Anuradhapura, including the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi tree, which is over 2,000 years old.
  • Day 3: Anuradhapura, Mihinthalaya

    Today, you will visit Mihintale, a sacred mountain peak where Buddhism was introduced to Sri Lanka in the 3rd century BC. Here, you can visit various ancient temples and stupas and learn about the fascinating history of Buddhism in Sri Lanka.
  • Day 4: Anuradhapura to Sigiriya

  • Day 5: Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa or Minneriya

  • Day 6: Sigiriya, Dambulla

  • Day 7: Dambulla to Kandy

  • Day 9: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

  • Day 10: Nuwara Eliya, Haggala, Horton Plains

  • Day 12-13: Colombo

    Spend the next two days exploring Colombo, a vibrant and cosmopolitan city that reflects the country's colonial past and modern present. You can also take a stroll along Galle Face Green, a popular public park and promenade that offers stunning views of the Indian Ocean.
  • Day 14: Colombo to Airport
