Day 1: Airport to Kalpitiya
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be picked up by your driver and driven to Kalpitiya. It's a coastal town located in the northwestern part of Sri Lanka, known for its beautiful beaches and water sports. You can spend the day relaxing on the beach, swimming, and exploring the town. -
Day 2: Wilpatthuwa safari full day
Early in the morning, you will go on a full-day safari in Wilpattu National Park. The park is known for its wildlife, including leopards, elephants, deer, and numerous bird species. You will have a packed breakfast and lunch during the safari. After the safari, you will return to Kalpitiya for dinner and overnight stay. -
Day 3: Kalpitiya to kandy
After breakfast, you will leave Kalpitiya and drive to Kandy. The city is located in the central highlands and is known for its scenic beauty and cultural significance. Upon arrival, you can visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, the most sacred Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka. You can also explore the city and try some local food. -
Day 4: kandy to Nuwaraeliya
After breakfast, you will be driven to Nuwara Eliya, a beautiful hill town known for its tea plantations and scenic beauty. On the way, you can visit the Ramboda waterfall and a tea factory to see the tea-making process. Upon arrival in Nuwara Eliya, you can spend the rest of the day exploring the town. -
Day 5: Horton plains full day
Early in the morning, you will visit Horton Plains National Park, known for its scenic beauty and biodiversity. You can hike to the World's End viewpoint, which offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. You will have a packed breakfast and lunch during the hike. After the hike, you will return to Nuwara Eliya for dinner and overnight stay. -
Day 6: Nuwaraeliya to Yala National Park
After breakfast, you will leave Nuwara Eliya and drive to Yala National Park. On the way, you can visit the Rawana Ella waterfall and the Buduruwagala temple. Upon arrival at Yala, you can spend the rest of the day relaxing and preparing for the safari the next day. -
Day 7: Yala Full Day Safari
Early in the morning, you will go on a full-day safari in Yala National Park. The park is known for its wildlife, including leopards, elephants, deer, and numerous bird species. You will have a packed breakfast and lunch during the safari. After the safari, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay. -
Day 8: Jeep Safari Udawalawa National Park
After breakfast, you will leave Yala and drive to Udawalawe National Park. Upon arrival, you will go on a jeep safari in the park, known for its large population of elephants. You will have a packed lunch during the safari. After the safari, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay. -
Day 9: Bird Sanctuary Hambantota
After breakfast, you will leave Udawalawe and drive to the Hambantota Bird Sanctuary, known for its diverse bird species. You can spend the day bird watching and exploring the sanctuary. You will have a packed lunch during the visit. After the visit, you will drive to Mirissa for dinner and overnight stay. -
Day 10: Hambanthota to mirissa
After breakfast at your hotel in Hambantota, you will travel to Mirissa, a small town on the south coast of Sri Lanka known for its beautiful beaches and whale watching opportunities. Upon arrival in Mirissa, you can check in to your hotel and have some free time to relax on the beach or explore the town. -
Day 11: Whale Watching in Mirissa
Get ready for an exciting day of whale watching! After breakfast, you will head out to sea on a boat tour to spot whales and dolphins in their natural habitat. Mirissa is one of the best places in Sri Lanka to see these magnificent creatures up close. You will have the chance to see blue whales, humpback whales, sperm whales, and more. After the tour, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure in Mirissa. -
Day 12: Mirissa to Sinharaja Rain Forest
Today, you will travel from Mirissa to Sinharaja Rain Forest, one of the last remaining rainforests in Sri Lanka. The journey takes approximately 3 hours, during which you can enjoy the scenic views of the Sri Lankan countryside. Upon arrival at Sinharaja, you can check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. -
Day 13: Sinharaja Rain Forest Full Day
Wake up early and enjoy a full day of exploring the incredible biodiversity of Sinharaja Rain Forest. With an experienced guide, you can hike through the forest to spot a wide variety of wildlife, including birds, reptiles, amphibians, and more. Day 14: Sinharaja to Hikkaduwa
Today, you will leave Sinharaja and travel to Hikkaduwa, a popular beach destination on the west coast of Sri Lanka. Once you arrive in Hikkaduwa, you can check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. -
Day 15: Hikkaduwa
Spend the day enjoying the sun, sand, and surf in Hikkaduwa. This popular beach destination offers plenty of opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, and other water activities. You can also explore the town and its many shops, restaurants, and bars. -
Day 16: Hikkaduwa to Colombo
After breakfast, you will travel from Hikkaduwa to Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka. Once you arrive, you can check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring the city. Some of the top attractions in Colombo include the National Museum, the Gangaramaya Temple, and the bustling Pettah market. -
Day 17: Colombo to Airport
On your final day, you will transfer from Colombo to the airport for your departure flight. Depending on your flight time, you may have some free time to do some last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Colombo. Then, it's time to say goodbye to Sri Lanka and head home with unforgettable memories of your trip.
